Dec 08, 2006 — Jazz vocalist Thistle Tulla Carson loves to evoke the glamour of the 1920s in her stage appearances. She dresses in velvet gowns, long gloves and pearls for performances, hoping to transport her audience to a simpler, maybe more romantic time. Jazz guitarist Jerry Lavene accompanied Thistle for the UpNorth Music recordings. They spoke with Jill Breit.
