May 31, 2007 — National Trails Day, this Saturday, is an annual nationwide day of public events. It's considered the country's largest celebration of the outdoors. The Adirondack Mountain Club is also celebrating its 85th anniversary and its first trail program, the 133-mile long Northville-Placid trail. Todd Moe spoke with Wes Lampman, ADK Director of Field Programs, who says about a hundred volunteers are expected to help with trail maintenance work on Saturday.
