Two fiddle tunes performed by music historian Alice Clemens

Listen to this story
Alice co-founded the North American Fiddlers Hall of Fame, which maintains an extensive archive and sponsors fiddling events each year. For her work as a preservationist and performer, she was recognized by TAUNY (Traditional Arts in Upstate New York) with a North Country Heritage Award. She performs the traditional Irish tune The Irish Washerwoman and her own composition God's Blessing on Four Strings.
