Jul 09, 2001 — United Helpers Canton Nursing home workers voted in favor of unionization on Friday, during an election overseen by the National Labor Relations Board. About 140 Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurses Assistants and other support staff will now be part of the Service Employees International Union. Jody Tosti reports.
