A whitewater trip on the living Hudson

Fifty miles from its source on Mt. Marcy, the Hudson is a rocky, alpine river. It's also one of the country's most popular stretches of whitewater, passing through seventeen miles of wilderness. Brian Mann made the raft trip and sent this audio postcard, which first aired in 2003.
