Aug 15, 2007 — Norte Maar and the Rouses Point Historical Society present the return of Fete de Danse, a summer dance concert in the Rouses Point Civic Center Thursday night (7:30 pm). The program will feature Gleich Dances Contemporary Ballet from London in the world premiere of the "Leger Ballet", choreographed by Julia Gleich. Norte Maar's Jason Andrew told Todd Moe that the ballet includes new music and is based on the life and art of cubist painter Fernand Leger, who lived in Rouses Point in the early 40's.
