The "Long Night Moon" Atop Azure Mt.

Sub-zero nights are the time for snuggling up in front of the fire and reading a good book. That's what David Sommerstein was doing last Wednesday night when he got an offer he couldn't refuse - a climb up Azure Mountain on the longest full moon night of the year. Ice Climbing for Confidence

Braving the chill and playing outdoors is a great way to stay fit and avoid the winter blues. It can also build self-confidence and mental strength. A St. Lawrence County based program called North Country Adolescent Outreach uses outdoor adventures to build self-esteem in troubled teens and train them to share their strengths with other kids.
