The Boston Marathon ? the Slow Way

Each year on Patriot's Day, Hopkinton, Massachusetts hosts 20,000 runners. They pace the streets waiting for the start of the Boston Marathon. It's 26 miles east to the city, and the lead runners will be there in just over two hours. Betsy Kepes took a little longer to cover the distance this year.  Go to full article

Commentary: The Boston Marathon

Last May, commentator Betsy Kepes ran fast enough in the Ottawa Marathon to qualify for the prestigious Boston Marathon. Last Monday, she started running in a small town 26 miles west of Boston and ran east through town after town to the race finish at the Boston Public Library.  Go to full article
