Jun 18, 2010 — Plans to build an Adirondack-themed carousel in Saranac Lake appear to be back on track. The non-profit group behind the project, which was shelved in early 2009 because of the economic downturn, says it's poised to break ground in August. Jun 01, 2006 — Friends and supporters of the proposed Adirondack Carousel are hosting a milk-and-cookies event Saturday (10am-3pm) in Saranac Lake. Chuck Brumley told Todd Moe that carousel will be a community attraction featuring 20 full size carousel animals -- all indigenous to the Adirondacks. Jun 17, 2003 — Calling all songwriters. The Adirondack Carousel in Saranac Lake is looking for original songs with a carousel theme. The Adirondack Carousel Project is building a full-size merry-go-round in the village of Saranac Lake, to be filled with wooden wildlife, from loons to bears.
