Jun 18, 2010 — Plans to build an Adirondack-themed carousel in Saranac Lake appear to be back on track. The non-profit group behind the project, which was shelved in early 2009 because of the economic downturn, says it's poised to break ground in August. The Adirondack Carousel Project is building a full-size merry-go-round in the village of Saranac Lake, to be filled with wooden wildlife, from loons to bears.
