Cheney Pushes Steady Course in Iraq
Dec 07, 2005 — Vice President Dick Cheney told troops at Fort Drum that an early withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq would increase the risk of terrorist attacks at home and abroad. Cheney rallied several thousand members of the 10th Mountain Division and the 42nd Infantry Division yesterday in a hangar on Fort Drum's airfield.
