St. Lawrence County Passes Anti-Smoking Policy, But Not Law
Aug 05, 2003 — St. Lawrence County legislators yesterday passed a toned-down version of an anti-smoking policy on county property. A law that would make smoking on county grounds a crime was returned to committee. But the law's supporters deleted a controversial clause that would have prohibited people from smoking in their own cars on county property.
