Oct 03, 2005 — At least 21 elderly tourists died yesterday in on Lake George when their sightseeing boat capsized in a bay near Diamond Point. Many of the 49 passengers aboard were with a tour group from Michigan. The 40-foot boat, the Ethan Allen, overturned so quickly that few of the victims had a chance to pull on life jackets.
