Clinton in Canton: The Future of Dairy Farms and Kraft Plant

Senator Clinton's visit to the North Country included a stop in Canton to talk with local officials about the future of the Kraft plant. It's been more than 50 years since Kraft has been making cheese at its Canton factory, but corporate officials recently announced they are looking at the plant's efficiency along with others around the country. Train Oil Spill

A cargo train struck a boulder on the track near Port Henry just after ten o'clock Monday morning. The Canadian Pacific train spilled 700 gallons of diesel fuel. Brian Mann reports DEC officials are working to clean up contaminated soil near the track.  Go to full article

New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton says Congress should investigate actions of the Bush White House before the September 11th terror attacks. A spokesman for President Bush says there were warnings last summer that the Al Quaeda group might try to hijack U.S. Airplanes. Brian Mann has details.

Earthquake Rattles North Country

A moderate earthquake hit the north country on Saturday, damaging churches, cracking foundations, and shattering storefront windows. The tremor and two long aftershocks did the most damage in Clinton County, fifteen miles southwest of Plattsburgh. Brian Mann toured the area and has this report.  Go to full article
