NY Joins National Registry to Block Telemarketers

Enforcing New York's Do Not Call Registry will now be the job of th Federal government. Governor Pataki signed over New York's list of people who do not want telemarketing calls to the Federal Trade Commission, which has begun a national program. AT&T Tests Adirondack Cell Tower Policy

The Adirondack Park Agency is reviewing an application by AT&T wireless that could improve cell phone service along a stretch of the Northway.
