Preview: Early English Operas at Crane

The Crane School of Music Opera Ensemble and Orchestra present Venus & Adonis and Dido & Aeneas this weekend. The Crane School of Music's Opera Ensemble and Orchestra presents the classic Gilbert and Sullivan operetta, The Mikado, tonight through Sunday afternoon in the Snell music theater at SUNY Potsdam. It's music featuring the Potsdam Pointercounts! The men's vocal ensemble hosts its 10th annual Acapella Jam Saturday night at SUNY-Potsdam. The concert will include the women's group A# Arrangement, InnerLoop from Rochester and the women's group The Miscords from Middlebury College. Preview: Potsdam High School Benefit Concert

The Northern Symphonic Winds performs a benefit concert Saturday night at 7:30 in Hosmer Hall at SUNY-Potsdam. Proceeds will go toward renovating Potsdam High School's auditorium.
