Feb 25, 2004 — Braving the chill and playing outdoors is a great way to stay fit and avoid the winter blues. It can also build self-confidence and mental strength. A St. Lawrence County based program called North Country Adolescent Outreach uses outdoor adventures to build self-esteem in troubled teens and train them to share their strengths with other kids.
