Ottawa, ON, Jun 08, 2009 — Auto manufactures aren't the only industry in crisis. There's also a near melt-down in news media. The ways people get information--who pays? and how?--have all changed dramatically. With ad revenue in a severe slump, there's a mad scramble for a funding formula that lets news as we know it survive. The story is much the same in Canada, although some details differ.
