North Creek, NY, Nov 27, 2012 — A rafting guide from North Creek has pleaded guilty to criminal negligent homicide following the death of a client on a tributary of the Hudson River this fall.

Paul Smiths mourns students
May 07, 2007 — Students, faculty and administration from Paul Smith's College came together Sunday to try and begin the healing process after the death of two students in a boating accident Friday night on Lower St. Regis Lake. Nearly 900 people attended a "community gathering" on campus to remember the lives of 20 year-old Sean Cornell of Manchester Center, Vermont and 18 year-old Lee Walker of Enosburg Falls, Vermont. As Chris Knight reports, the two young men apparently drowned when their canoes overturned as they were returning from a party on the opposite side of the lake. Go to full article
