Aftershock Felt in Northern Adirondacks
Jun 28, 2002 — What may have felt like another earthquake this week in the northern Adirondacks was actually an aftershock from a quake there 2 months ago. In late April, an earthquake registering 5.1 on the Richter scale caused millions of dollars in damage to hundreds of homes and businesses. Apr 22, 2002 — A moderate earthquake hit the north country on Saturday, damaging churches, cracking foundations, and shattering storefront windows.
