Independence Party Weighs In in Governor's Race

Governor Pataki is winning growing support among members of the state's largest minority party, the Independence Party, but the party's founder Tom Galisano is threatening to challenge Pataki in a primary. Galisano expressed his interest in a run after the Independence Party of Monroe County, in Galisano's hometown of Rochester, came out in favor of Pataki for Governor.
