Canadians Cool to Powell's Visit
Nov 15, 2002 — With or without United Nations backing, the U-S is asking Canada to be ready to join it should military action be needed in Iraq. Secretary of State Colin Powell says the U.S. will be looking for support from Canada and other allies if Saddam Hussein doesn't cooperate with U.N. weapons inspectors.
