Long Distance: Author Bill McKibben Races "The Loppet" in Lake Placid
Jan 29, 2001 — Adirondack author Bill McKibben has written a new book called "Long Distance: A Year of Living Strenuously". It's the chronicle of his year on the cross-country ski circuit, training and competing with some of the world's top endurance athletes.
