Feb 08, 2006 — A new exhibit opens this Saturday at Traditional Arts in Upstate New York (TAUNY) in Canton. Hooked on the River features 10 hooked rugs by Prudence Matthews. They tell a rich and detailed story about Matthews' life along the St. Lawrence River. Since childhood she's spent summers at her family's cottage in Fishers Landing.
