New Homeless Shelter in Glens Falls Serves Military Veterans
Nov 28, 2002 — The state of New York has given nearly 170 thousand dollars to a new homeless shelter in Glens Falls, that offers transitional housing to military veterans. The shelter was established when a government survey found a high number of vets in the region who are living in "inadequate housing". Brian Mann spoke with the shelter's director and has our story.

Nov 22, 2002 — In November of 1838, there was a little known attack on Prescott, Ontario. A group of mostly New Yorkers, known as the Hunter Patriots, landed at Windmill Point, across from Ogdensburg, convinced thousands of Canadians would join them to oust the British from North America.
