Adirondack Attic: a charming 19th century watercolor
Oct 11, 2011 — We continue our series, the Adirondack Attic, with Andy Flynn. You may know Andy from his series of "Adirondack Attic" books on local history. He uses the objects people make, use and leave behind to tell stories about the life and times of the region. NCPR is collaborating with Andy and his sources at the Adirondack Museum and other historical associations and museums in the region to bring these stories to air. Crews search for hunters after snowstorm
Oct 31, 2006 — Rescue crews continue their work in the Moose River Plains area of the western Adirondacks, freeing hunters stranded by deep snow and downed trees. As Brian Mann reports, one lost hunter was rescued yesterday by a state police helicopter. Go to full article
