New Adrondack trail ties North Country to 4600-mile trail
Nov 22, 2007 — A proposed new 140-mile trail will from Crown Point on the shore of Lake Champlain across the Adirondacks to Boonville. The route will tie into a 4600-mile long national trail that's now under construction. The east-west route runs all the way to North Dakota. Peter Frank is chief of the bureau of Forest Preserve Management with the Department of Environmental Conservation. He spoke with Brian Mann. Public hearings on the proposed trail will be held December 5 and 6 in Warrensburg and Boonville. Go to full article
National Park Service Assesses Jet-Ski Damage
