61,000 still without power in Ontario

Approximately 61,000 customers are still without power in Ontario, six days after the ice storm caused massive outages across the province.

Vt. outages remain, but crews making progress

MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) Thousands of Vermont utility customers are still without electricity in northwestern Vermont, more than three days after an ice storm dropped trees on power lines or the heavy ice made the lines collapse.

As of late Tuesday, the Vermont Electric Cooperative still had almost 3,400 customers without power.  Go to full article
