Feb 18, 2002 — New York Health Commissioner Antonia Novello visited Saranac Lake Friday, to announce a $700,000 grant for the Adirondack Medical Center. The money is part of a statewide effort to close a shortage in healthcare workers at hospitals and nursing homes.
