Potsdam, NY, Jun 02, 2010 — The St. Lawrence County Arts Council has run out of room at its storefront headquarters in downtown Potsdam. Faced with the challenge of offering more art classes and limited space, the Arts Council recently expanded to unused rooms in a building owned by Clarkson University. Executive Director Hilary Oak gave Todd Moe a tour of old Snell Hall this week. She says bringing new art to an old space is a step toward developing a multi-arts building in Potsdam that would serve all of the North Country.
