Aubertine Ponders New Role as State Lawmaker

When the new state Assembly officially opens January 2nd, Assmeblyman-elect for the 118th district Darrel Aubertine will be the first North County Democrat in that body in almost 30 years. 118th District Republican Primary

In the 118th assembly district also known as the river district, the predominant theme of Republican primary candidates is turning the economy around in the north country. The district stretches along the st. Lawrence river, from the town of lyme to massena and includes the towns of Potsdam and Canton and the cities of Ogdensburg and Watertown.
