New music for the season: "Be the Light"

He became familiar with the cultures of both regions in college and learned the stories and music from traditional sources -- the people who had them as part of their community for generations. Celia Evans: songs that celebrate gratitude, love, life

Ukulele wiz Jake Shimabukuro in Lake Placid
Lake Placid, NY, Jun 22, 2010 — Jake Shimabukuro has reinvented the ukulele and earned a following worldwide. His version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" made him one of the first "Youtube" legends. Jake and his ukulele will be on stage at Lake Placid Center for the Arts Friday (8 pm).
