Tenth Mountain Division Soldier Killed in Central Asia

A Tenth Mountain Division soldier who died last Thursday in Central Asia has been identified as Private Second Class Giovanny Maria of Camden, New Jersey. Fort Drum spokesman Ed Stoffer says Maria arrived at Fort Drum in September and had been in the army since May.  Go to full article

Fort Drum Troops Headed to Uzbekistan

The Pentagon has confirmed 1000 soldiers from the army's 10th Mountain Division are headed to the former Soviet state of Uzbekistan.
