Happy Holidays! from North Country Public Radio

Celebrate with stories and music for the season

New Year's Eve:

7 to 8 pm, The Capitol Steps New Year's Special. A satirical review of 2012 in song and skit.

8 pm to 1 am, Guy and Bob's Happy New Year's Eve. Guy Berard and Radio Bob help you ring in the New Year with jazz, R&B and other favorites. They'll be live in the studio, welcoming special guests and taking your requests. Happy 2013!

1 am to 5 am, Toast of the Nation, from NPR.
  Keep the party going all night with live jazz from across the country, including Dee Alexander's Funkin' with Electric Soul: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix and James Brown, Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band from Los Angeles, John Scofield Überband,  Henry Cole and The AfroBeat Collective and more.

New Year's Day

1 to 3 pm, Pride and Prejudice. The LA Theatre Works special adaptation of the Jane Austen classic, recorded by North Country Public Radio at a live performance presented by Ogdensburg Command Performance in October. Brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair and enjoy great theatre for radio. Story and performance information from the OCP program
