(Jan 16, 2012) A new debate is underway over the future of the Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Clear. Traffic at the airport is growing, with more than 11,500 passengers using Cape Air’s commuter flights last year. Supporters say that brings a big boost to the Tri-Lakes economy. But state and local officials also say cost overruns, mismanagement and a lack of political support for the airport could threaten its future. Brian Mann has our story.
(Aug 4, 2011) While the congressional deadlock over funding the “Essential Air Service” threatens a number of small airports across the country—including Jamestown’s here in New York—It won’t endanger the EAS subsidies for North Country and Adirondack airports like Massena, Watertown, Ogdensburg, Lake Clear and Plattsburgh.

(Apr 16, 2002) Nearly 70 percent of participant in a recent survey indicated they would be more likely to use air service from Ogdensburg and Massena, if the destination hub was changed from Pittsburgh to Albany. And with a gradual decline in use of the two airports since the 90's, local officials are looking at ways to boost ridership. Jody Tosti reports.
(Sep 13, 2001) Tens of thousands of American travelers were stranded in Canada by the bombing crisis. As Brian Mann reports, the air travel ban leaves tourists and business travelers stranded far from home.
