<title>A Singing Valentine, Barbershop-style</title>

<description><![CDATA[ (Feb 14, 2001) As much a part of the American culture as Mom and apple pie, barbershop quartet singing is an American institution.  It&apos;s alive today, largely through the efforts of an organization called the Society of the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America.  It was founded in 1938 by an Oklahoma lawyer and a banker who found a mutual love for vocal harmony.  Todd Moe has more.The Goldenaires are always looking for new members.
