<description><![CDATA[ (Dec 10, 2010) Award-winning musicians Peggy Lynn and Dan Duggan will host a Holiday concert on Saturday, December 18th at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts. This will mark their tenth annual family Holiday show and will include other local musicians and some surprises.   Todd Moe talks with Dan and Peggy about their new cd, Be the Light, which includes original and traditional songs and tunes for the Christmas and winter season. <title>A reason to celebrate with music</title>

<description><![CDATA[ (Oct 7, 2009) North Country musician Dan Duggan has battled head and neck cancer for about a year, and recently got good news from his doctors.   After 10 months, 3 surgeries, 35 radiation treatments and several chemo-therapy treatments, he is cancer-free.  Dan is a member of the Susquehanna String Band and the trio Jamcrackers.  He and his wife, Peggy Lynn, and friend Dan Berggren will host an evening of music Thursday night at BluSeed Studios in Saranac Lake (7:30). He told Todd Moe there is reason to celebrate. <title>Poetry, images and music celebrate the Adirondacks</title>

<description><![CDATA[ (Jul 17, 2009) A poem by Adirondack resident Miriam Kashiwa inspired photographer Carl Heilman and musician Dan Berggren to collaborate on a multi-media production that premieres in North Creek on Sunday night.  &quot;I am the Adirondacks&quot; uses spoken words, images and music to celebrate the region&apos;s beauty.  The event is a benefit for musician Dan Duggan, who&apos;s battling cancer.  Todd Moe spoke with Carl Heilman and Dan Berggren about the production.  Heilmann says it began with Miriam Kashiwa&apos;s poem.
