<title>Arts Council honors Sally Hartman</title>

<description><![CDATA[ (Aug 31, 2006) Rensselaer Falls artist and teacher Sally White Hartman was given an award this year by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.  She owns the &quot;Ladies First Gallery of Art&quot;, with husband Kyle Hartman, and teaches art in the Heuvelton Central School.  Her background is in printmaking and painting, and the gallery is housed in a 19th century mill.  Douglas Hopper took a tour earlier this summer.
