<description><![CDATA[ (Feb 2, 2011) A rare brass instrument will be a part of a concert at SUNY Plattsburgh Friday night.  SUNY Plattsburgh’s Ann Ellsworth and her guests will take the stage for a faculty recital that will feature music by Mozart, Wagenseil, Eberlin and others.  Ellsworth owns one of only eight soprano horns in the world.  It&apos;s a rare instrument made by German horn maker Alexander Mainz.  She told Todd Moe that it was designed specifically for playing the extremely high register found in certain Bach cantatas.
