<description><![CDATA[ (Dec 27, 2002) Herkimer County is returning to normal this morning after a Christmas day snowstorm that shut down the Thruway and many local roads.  The wintry blast forced holiday travelers to find shelter, but drivers had high praise for snowplow operators who scrambled to reopen major routes.  Brian Mann has our story.
