Fort Ann Residents Struggle after Dam Break, Question Cause

State officials are investigating a dam break over the weekend that flooded dozens of homes in the Washington County town of Fort Ann. Nearly 300 people still have no running water today, and one of the area's main roads remains closed. Brian Mann has details.

Anyone affected by Saturday's dam break can call a toll-free disaster hotline for insurance information. The number, set up by the state Insurance department, is 1-800-339-1759. The hotline is staffed weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm to answer questions about property damage and insurance coverage.  Go to full article

Workers Scramble to Repair Northway

Interstate 87 remains closed in both directions between exits 23 and 25 in Warren County. Boulders and debris came tumbling down a hill and swept across all four lanes of the Adirondack Northway in the town of Bolton Monday night. Governor Pataki visited the scene yesterday afternoon.
