We asked Adirondack artist David Douglas to describe June's weather from a visual artist's perspective. What colors would he use to "paint" the weather this month? Champlain Already High

Water levels on Lake Champlain were already nearing the high water mark. Boaters last week reported docks underwater in Essex. Gregory Warner spoke with Barry Hamilton, owner of the Essex Marina, yesterday afternoon.
