Advocates hope for more LIHEAP funding

National Grid expects the price of natural gas to decline sharply this winter by about 11 %. Weather forecasters are calling for another relatively mild winter, but the odds are it'll still be colder than last year. Low income advocates are worried about heating assistance for the poor. Vermont walk promotes global warming solutions

Vermonters have organized a five-day walk from Ripton to Burlington this Labor Day weekend to call attention to global climate change.
